Do you provide an official receipt?

Ahround Travel and Tours provides official receipts. If you need an official receipt, please let us know upon reservation so we can prepare it for you.

Do you provide self-drive rental?

Yes, Ahround Travel and Tours offers both self-drive car rentals and rentals with a driver. The primary requirement for self-drive car rentals is a valid driver’s license.

What are your requirements for self-drive car rental?

1. Valid Driver’s License
2. Two Valid Government Issued ID (Philippine Resident), Passport (Foreign Resident) with arrival stamp of not more than 90 days.
3. Full rental payment in cash upon delivery/pick-up. If you prefer to pay using credit card or PayPal, you need to pay prior to your rental date.
4. PHP 5,000 Security Deposit. You will provide this when you get the car. This will be given back to you in full upon returning the car and there are no damages.

Can I specify the year model and color of the car?

We do our best to provide our clients with their preferred car unit. However, due to availability, specific details such as vehicle variant, year model, grade, and color cannot be guaranteed.

Are all cars equipped with a GPS navigation system?

We have certain cars equipped with GPS, but not all of them. When making a car reservation, please specify in the additional instructions if you want to utilize a GPS-equipped vehicle so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Are all cars equipped with Bluetooth for connecting to electronic devices

Most of our car fleet is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. Please inquire directly before placing a car rental booking with us.

Do you rent out infant or booster seats?

Yes, available seats vary based on the child’s age and stature. When making a reservation, please specify what you need. Additionally, renters are allowed to use their own car seats or infant seats. The seats must be installed by the users themselves. Employees of Ahround Travel & Tours may help, but please make sure to double-check that the seats have been installed correctly.

Is smoking allowed inside my rented vehicle?

No, Ahround Travel and Tours vehicles are strictly no-smoking.

Can my pet ride in my rented vehicle?

Yes, if you want to bring a pet along for the trip, please inform ahead of time. During the reservation process, be sure to note that you will be traveling with a pet. If such facts are not revealed to us at the time of booking, Ahround Travel and Tours has the right to refuse to rent out a car, even if you have a reservation.

Is the rental fee inclusive of fuel?

By default, fuel is not included in the rental car rates (self-drive or with a driver). When the car is handed to the client, it will have a full tank, and the client will need to top it off when returning it. Customers may also request an all-inclusive pricing option that covers all costs incurred throughout the rental period including fuel. For pickup-dropoff rates, fuel is already included.

Do you allow car rental fleet for an inter-island travel?

No, Ahround Travel and Tours does not allow inter-island travels. All our vehicles are prohibited for such purposes.

Do you offer City Tours?

Ahround Travel and Tours offers highly customized tour packages to tourism spots in the city and nearby towns. We’ll help you experience the rich historical past and modern beauty of the Philippines.

Do you have bridal cars?

Yes, Ahround Travel and Tours has bridal cars available for rent. Prices depend on the specific bridal car unit selected.

Do you provide lipat bahay services?

Yes, we provide lipat bahay services. Please contact Ahround Travel and Tours’s 24/7 Customer Support for more information.

What do I need to bring when picking up the car?

A valid driver’s license, passport, and identity card are required for everyone planning to drive. Please submit these documents when renting. Examples of identity cards include government ID, health insurance card, company card, and so forth. The entire amount must be paid upon receiving the car unit.

How soon after getting your license can you rent a car?

There are no restrictions placed on the date of issuance of the driver’s license. It’s possible to rent a car as soon as one obtains a driver’s license, as long as the person is of appropriate age and meets Ahround Travel and Tours’ self-drive requirements.

Can I rent a car with an International driver’s license?

All International drivers are allowed to drive in the Philippines using their international licenses for three months upon arrival. Please make sure that your international driver’s license has a photo of yourself and that you also present your passport when you rent a vehicle.

If I forget to bring my driver’s license, can I still rent a car as long as I have reservation?

No. If you don’t have a valid driver’s license, ID, or passport when you pick up the car, you might not be able to rent one. On the day of pick-up, please make sure you meet our rental requirements and remember to bring the required paperwork.

How is the rental fee calculated?

The model of the car and the duration of the rental period affect the rental cost. The basic rate will be adjusted to reflect any additional options, accessories, compensation packages, or services that the user may have requested.

Do the fees vary by region and season?

Yes. Rental fees vary in accordance with both the region and the season. Destination/s is also a big factor. Please refer to our car rental rates page for details on the actual rates.

How are rental fees calculated if I extend for a few hours during the original rental period?

All extra fees will be computed using the PHP 300 hourly rate method, which is derived from the rental fee table provided by Ahround Travel and Tours.

Do you provide special rate for long term rental like weekly or monthly?

Yes, Ahround Travel and Tours provides excellent long-term rental discounts. To learn more, please get in touch with us.

Do you require reservation fee?

To secure the car unit, a reservation fee must be paid in advance. This fee guarantees the availability of the car upon your arrival and will be subtracted from your total rental cost.

Should I just not bother to “reserve” rental cars anymore? Can I just go to your office and rent a car?

As long as a car is available in the garage, you can rent a car whenever you like. But, as availability of cars might be limited during peak times, we suggest making reservations in advance.

How many days in advance can a reservation be made?

To ensure car availability, we suggest reserving the car at least 3 days before the rental date. Later reservations can still be accepted as long as cars are available.

Will there be a problem if the person who made the reservation is different from the one who will drive the car?

No, persons who will not drive the car can also make the reservation; however, they need to confirm the driver of the vehicle before making the reservation with Ahround Travel and Tours.

Can I modify my reservation?

If you would like to modify your reservation, you must notify Ahround Travel and Tours at least two days before the rental date. Any changes to the reservation are not guaranteed, they are subject to confirmation.

What happens if I cancel my car rental reservation?

If you wish to cancel your reservation, please get in touch with Ahround Travel and Tours as soon as possible. The reservation fee is non-refundable.

Do I have to pay a cancellation fee if I cancel my reservation?

There is no cancellation fee if you wish to cancel your reservation. However, the reservation fee that has already been paid will be forfeited.

Can I arrange for the car to be delivered to my home, hotel or to airport

Yes, Ahround Travel and Tours offers 24/7 doorstep delivery and pick-up for all our rental vehicles. Delivery and pick-up incur charges depending on the location.

What are the procedures for picking up the car?

Present your driver’s license (of all drivers) and an additional two valid IDs for signing the Rental Agreement when you pick up the vehicle. Once completed, please pay the sum determined by the agreement’s contents. A short explanation of the vehicle will be provided, and the vehicle will be checked for existing scratches or other damages with the user. The rental car can be used as soon as these are completed.

What happens if I arrive late when picking up my booked vehicle?

If you are going to come after the designated pick-up time, kindly make sure to notify the concerned station. The reservation will be canceled one hour after the pick-up/delivery time if Ahround Travel and Tours is not contacted. Furthermore, if the station was not notified of the delay, the car might not be available when it is picked up.

Can I return the car to a different branch or rental station?

Yes, Ahround Travel and Tours offers a one-way service which allows the vehicle to be returned to a different place. Please be aware that depending on how far the rental stations are from the pick-up and return locations, a two-way fee can apply.

Do you offer a one-way rental service?

Yes, this service is available as long as the pick-up and return stations are both operated by Ahround Travel and Tours. Please contact us at the pick-up location for details on the one-way fee. A price simulation may be run to check the amount of the one-way fee.

Do I need to refuel the car when I return it to the main office/garage?

Yes, when returning rented cars to the main office/garage, they must have the same amount of fuel in them as when they were rented. A fuel surcharge set by Ahround Travel and Tours will be charged if a car is returned to them with less fuel than when it was rented.

What should I do if I am unable to return the car with a full tank?

You may return the vehicle to the garage as it is. Please be prepared to pay the refueling fee.

Why do I have to return my car at a set time?

Many rates, like weekend specials, are only available during certain time periods. Returning the car after or even before the designated time might affect the rate quoted. Returning the car by the agreed-upon time also helps ensure that all other customers will have their reserved car available upon their arrival.

If I pick up a car on Tuesday at noon and return it Wednesday at 4 p.m., will I be charged for one day or two?

Ahround Travel and Tours’s car rental rates are based on a 24-hour clock. In this case, you’d be charged for four extra hours or one additional day, whichever is less.

What do I need to keep in mind when returning the rental car?

Please make sure you don’t forget anything inside the car. Ahround Travel and Tours cannot be held responsible for any forgotten items or lost property.

What Payment Methods do you offer?

Apart from cash payments, Ahround Travel and Tours accepts payments through PayPal, Credit Card, Western Union, BPI, BDO, PayMaya, and GCash.

Can I get a refund if I return the car earlier than the scheduled date of return?

No, we cannot issue a refund as we have already reserved the car unit for your entire rental duration and declined other rentals for the unit. For midterm cancellations or returns, please contact the Ahround Travel and Tours station from where you picked up the vehicle before returning it.

When do I have to pay the rental fees?

Upon delivery or pick-up, Ahround Travel and Tours requires full rental payment in cash, by credit card (via a terminal), or through online transfer. If you prefer to pay using digital payment options like PayPal or international transfers, you must complete the payment before the start of your rental period.

What should I do if I get in an accident?

1. If possible, move the vehicle to a safe location to prevent further accidents.
2. Assist all injured parties.
3. Report the accident to the police.
4. Get the details of the other party.
5. Contact Ahround Travel and Tours’s 24/7 Customer Support for assistance and help. Do not negotiate a private settlement on the spot.

Will I get my Security Deposit back and when?

Upon returning the car, if there are no damages, the security deposit will be returned in full. In case of damages to the rented vehicle, return in an unclean condition, cigarette smoke odor, or a lower gasoline level than when the car was released, etc., the expense will be deducted from the security deposit.

What if I return the car earlier or if I would like to extend?

You can return your rented vehicle anytime as early as you like, but there is no refund for unused days because we block a car for your total rental period and reject other potential customers during this period. It is unlikely that we can rent out the car to someone else on short notice.

If you would like to extend your rental, just call or message us. If the car isn’t reserved immediately after your return or in the following days, we are happy to accommodate you. In the worst case, we can exchange the unit for another available one during your desired extension period.

What is your working time?

One of the main services that place us in front of the others is our Support Service. We provide online support 24/7. We also work on weekends or holidays completing custom modifications for our clients and doing updates to our own products and websites so you can expect a reply from us too. Generally you can expect a response to your question within few minutes.
